Violation of the civil liberties of residents is not justified by the outcome. From such an outburst I assume you are for the “anti-terror” legislation that is or has been enacted around the world. Spying on you and raiding your homes on little or no evidence, perhaps just profiling.

From your reasoning above it is either that or you support terror. Can’t you see that that sort of reasoning is a load of crap?

I am against drunk driving and even at the relative low limits a large percentage of people have reduced reaction time resulting in accidents in emergency situations. That does not mean I am in favour of random stopping or search.
